New order form for ePrints

As of July 15th 2009, FIZ AutoDoc offers the possibility to request an offer and subsequently order ePrints. This extended service is provided in close cooperation with our partner Reprints Desk.

• ePrints are large quantities of PDF copies of articles available to multiple users which are licensed from the publisher for download or e-delivery. Most scientific and medical articles can be licensed as an ePrint. Some ePrints may be protected with DRM (digital rights management).


• To request an offer for ePrints, use the new order option “Request Offer” -> “for ePrints”. Conveniently enter bibliographic information of the requested article and fill in the necessary ePrint information (the date when you need the ePrints, desired quantities, intended use, intended audience and optional additional information). Click “Proceed”. A new page with details of your ePrint offer request will be displayed. Review these details and optionally enter further information for the supplier in the free text field. Finally click “Request Offer”.


• The FIZ AutoDoc Service Team will process your request and will contact you by e-mail with the pricing information for your ePrint offer request.


• The price for ePrints is usually based on the number of downloads. We will add the new pricing for ePrints to our price list at the date of the release.


• Please note: The option “Request Offer” -> “for ePrints” is only available as default for regular customers. Corporate customers may need to contact their administrator to activate this feature.
