PDF without DRM

• The “PDF” order format in FIZ AutoDoc allows you to specify that you would like to order PDF i.e. PLAIN PDF documents. These documents will either be delivered without any DRM encryption or with an almost invisible DRM protection such as watermark etc.
• Technically, these documents can be opened, printed and handled like any other PDF document. This enables you to make use of additional rights e.g. to forward, print and store these PDF documents according to rights, permissions etc. from the copyright holder.
• The order format "PDF" reduces the potential of conflicts due to DRM protection/encryption compared to the “PDF / DRM” or “PDF / DRM File Open” order options and guarantees a safe and convenient document handling.

In the near future this offering will be extended step by step by adding more PDFs from the suppliers listed above and other participating suppliers. Our goal is to be able to deliver almost every document as PLAIN PDF using the “PDF” order option. In case a document cannot be delivered in “PDF” format, all alternative order formats will be offered in a table display.
