FIZ AutoDoc links from your information service / portal to the corresponding full text of the original document, thus perfectly meeting your customers' information needs.

This is how it works:

  • Include a "Full Text" button into your online references. This button is the connection from your information service / portal to FIZ AutoDoc.
  • As soon as your customers click this "Full Text" button, bibliographic data is taken over from your information service / portal to the FIZ AutoDoc ordering mask using OpenURL 1.0 technology.

* Registration / authentication and invoicing is handled as follows:

I. Option recommended for classic portals:

  • Explicit customer registration is required once.
  • Authentication with loginID / password is necessary each time.
  • A monthly bill is sent to each customer.

II. Option recommended for intranet portals:

  • Implicit user registration is available via special authentication / registration http request from the intranet.
  • With this http request, an unique user ID, address information and other parameters will be provided during the session.
  • A monthly bill is sent to the portal provider / administrator.
