Energy

Climate protection is one of the key goals of the German Federal Government. This requires a sustainable, safe, and efficient supply of energy. An important factor in this process is the development of greenhouse gas reducing technologies.

A redirection of the energy mix for the future, considering all available sources of energy, can only be achieved by means of innovative technologies.

The development of new technologies for power generation, the design and construction of modern power supply grids, and solutions for energy-optimized building construction are more important now than ever before.

On behalf of the German Federal Government, FIZ Karlsruhe produces databases and information services for energy research and its practical application.
