List View

The List View displays selected properties of the database records contained in the result set (Fig. 1). These properties are displayed on a one-row-per-record basis. Each property is described in one column.

Once at least one entry has been selected the options Show Detailed View, Show Synoptic View (at least two entries) and Export Selected Data become available.
The Print option in the title bar generates a properly formatted pdf-file for the selected entries.
The Report option located next to the Print link generates a comprehensive pdf-file containing List View, Synoptic View and Detailed View of the selected entries. Up to 15 entries can be included in one report.

Sorting

The data in the columns may be sorted according to column specific sorting options. There are 2 ways of sorting entries:

1. Click on the caption of the column you want to have sorted; a small arrow head will appear, indicating whether entries are sorted ascending (Fig. 2a) or descending (Fig. 2b).
2. Right-click on the table of results. A menu will appear, allowing you to perform sorting, grouping or toggling of visibilities of result columns (Fig. 3). Sorting may then be performed by selecting the desired properties (Fig. 4).

Grouping

Grouping of data is also possible:
Right-click on the table of results. A pop-up menu will appear (Fig. 3). Selecting “Grouping properties” will display the Grouping dialogue box (Fig. 5). In this example grouping has been performed on the “Reference” property. The result can be seen in Fig. 6.

Sorting and grouping is performed on all records contained in the result sets.

Column manipulation

The visibility of columns can be easily toggled:
Right-click on the table of results; a pop-up menu will appear (Fig. 3). Click on “Visibility” and select/deselect the desired column (Fig. 7).

It is possible to move columns:
Click on the column caption and keep the left mouse button down, until the mouse pointer changes its shape to the “Move mouse pointer” (Fig. 8, 1.). Drag and drop the column to the desired position (Fig. 8, 2.). The “Authors” column is now at its new position (Fig. 9).

Changing the width of columns:
Move the mouse pointer between columns, until it changes its shape to the “Resize mouse pointer” (Fig. 10). Click and keep the mouse button down. Moving the mouse will change the column width.
