The enormous growth of computer science as a key technology of the information age is reflected in the more than two million publications that are accessible via io-port.net.
In cooperation with the University of Trier and IEEE, FIZ Karlsruhe offers a computer science portal that is a central access point to scientific information on computers and computer science, with worldwide coverage and dating back to 1931. With its more than 2 million records, io-port.net is also the most comprehensive source of information on the history of computer science. It addresses computer science experts in science, research, and development.
In collaboration with partners, among them the Gesellschaft für Informatik, the University of Trier and international publishers, FIZ Karlsruhe offers a web portal for computer science. io-port.net pools information from several computer science sources (among them our CompuScience file) which formerly had only been available separately. The portal provides access to more than two million publications from these sources in a standardized format, covering all areas of computer science and related disciplines. The portal is constantly updated with additional content.
