Description:
The Metals Datafile, produced by Materials Information in association with ASM and the Institute of Metals contains numerical property information on nearly all ferrous and non-ferrous alloy systems, including recently developed alloys. Information is derived from handbooks, proprietary data sheets, journals, and other published literature. Bibliographic information, materials information, and mechanical and physical properties are all searchable. Companion files to MDF are METADEX (applied and theoretical metallurgy literature), MATBUS with techno-commercial developments in metals and materials, and EMA with engineering materials. References to the METADEX file (also on STN) are included. An online thesaurus is available in theThesaurus Index (/THI) field. Producer: Cambridge Scientific Abstracts |
