Quality Filter
We implemented a post-query filtering, which enables you to further confine the number of hits you get from a query without having to rerun the query. Currently this filtering allows to select datasets flagged as High Quality Data and datasets without this flag - called Standard Data only. In one of the next releases there will be many more flags for high/low pressure, high/low temperature, different types of sources like x-ray, synchrotron and neutron.
In the List View display there is a new column for the different flags. The title of this column is currently a black star and the High Quality Data are described by a blue star. On the left just beneath the Navigation field there is a new field called Quality Filtering, where you can change the kind of data you are interested in. Currently, only one of the given options can be chosen, but with more flags added this will certainly be changed to allow individual selections.
The default sorting for a query has been changed to first showing the High Quality Data in ascending order of their collection code and than all other data with ascending collection code. The sorting can be changed by clicking on the title of this column.
Definition
High Quality Data:
- structure determination including refinement (in case of powder data including Rietveld refinement)
- temperature factors given
- pressure in the range 0.09-0.11 MPa
- temperature in the range 285-300K
- standard deviation given for cell parameters
- any R-value
