Impacts of U.S. Government Shutdown on STN Databases	07. October 2013
The U.S. government partial shutdown on October 1, 2013 is impacting a number of STN databases that contain content supplied by U.S. federal government organizations as follows:

Application Numbers for U.S. Patents in CA/CAplus and USPATFULL/USPAT2 Enhanced with U.S. Series Code Information	30. September 2013
Effective September 28, 2013, U.S. application numbers from series 13, design applications from series 29, and provisional patent applications from series 60 and 61 will include series codes. The enhancement applies to:

Emtree Thesaurus Updated in Embase	25. September 2013
The third update for 2013 to Emtree, the Embase thesaurus, was completed on September 1, 2013. 747 new terms were introduced, including drug names, organism names, and additional routes of drug administration.

STN on the Web Enhanced with Updated Structure and BLAST Plug-ins	13. September 2013
