Dr. Jörg Waitelonis is a Post-Doctoral Researcher/Senior Researcher at FIZ Karlsruhe – Leibniz Institute for Information Infrastructure and Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT), Institute of Applied Informatics and Formal Description Methods (AIFB) with Prof. Dr. Harald Sack. He holds a diploma in computer science from Friedrich Schiller University of Jena, 2008, and a doctoral degree of the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT), 2018. His PhD about "Linked Data Supported Information Retrieval" was supervised by Prof. Dr. Harald Sack. From 2009 to 2018 Jörg has conducted his research (e.g. Semantic Web, Natural Language Processing, Information Retrieval, Deep Learning, etc.) at Hasso-Plattner-Institute for IT-Systems Engineering (HPI) at University of Potsdam. Since 2012, Jörg is founder and managing director of yovisto GmbH (www.yovisto.com).
