Oliver Vettermann studied computer science and law in Leipzig. During his studies, he worked for Prof. Dr. Christoph Degenhart as website administrator and technical support. After completing his degree, he was employed as a research assistant by Prof. Dr. Hubertus Gersdorf, focussing on entertainment law. Whilst working in this area, he engaged particularly with the technological aspects of legal questions. IT was always part of his career and sparked his curiosity in the interaction between IT and entertainment law, and especially as this interfaced with constitutional law. Following this interest, he will deal with research questions related to public and constitutional law at FIZ Karlsruhe.
