At our Berlin location, we are recruiting for the position of a Data Architect (f/m/x) at the next possible date.
This position is part of the MaRDI projecton research data infrastructures for mathematics. MaRDI is part of the German Research Data Infrastructure initiative (NFDI programme). The main focus is on MaRDI Data and Service Lifecycle Management. The task is the implementation of data and service lifecycle plans to ensure that the data and services provided by the MaRDI portal are accurate, homogeneous and current. This includes:
Creation of data and service lifecycle plans
Establishing of service reliability measures
Homogenization of data and services with other data sources
Qualifications and Skills:
Ph.D. in Computer Science, Mathematics or related fields
Experience in managing data sets and designing knowledge bases
Experience in project management
Experience in providing high-availability services
Contributions to Open Source Software desirable
Experience with MediaWiki framework desirable
Experience in professional software development desirable
Experience with Linked open data, i.e., SPARQL, graph databases (optional)
Awareness of code quality, good knowledge of coding best practices
Very good ability to work in a team

Remuneration is based on the Collective Agreement for the Public Sector (TVöD). The employment contract is initially limited to two years, but our aim is a long-term cooperation.
