Far too often, many good ideas are presented in hastily planned brainstorming sessions, but for some reason they never really catch on, while companies continue to focus on existing products that are approaching maturity or degradation within their lifecycle.
New products and services are essential for FIZ Karlsruhe. Maximizing the success of existing products while at the same time researching into new products and services, can promote our growth and lead to a significant competitive edge. However, innovation involves risks and new products may often fail on the market.
To maximize the creativity of ideas and to make sure that the best ideas are successfully implemented at FIZ Karlsruhe, the InnoFIZ project initiates a new innovation process which includes various steps that support the generation and development of new product concepts and ideas. This reduces the risks associated with the innovation process and increases the institute’s chances of using innovative products and services.
