Curriculum Vitae and Publications Rafael Patronilo

Rafael has a bachelor's (2019-2022) and master's (2022-2025) degree in Computer Science and Engineering from Nova School of Science and Technology, Portugal. In 2022 he did an academic internship at Elsa Corp. at the end of my bachelor's researching the state-of-the-art in Conversational AI. His master's thesis was about a Neuro-Symbolic approach towards Explainable AI that explored a new way to provide ontology based justifications for the output of neural networks. In 2025 he participated in a research project with Nova University where he extended an AI tool for the revision of boolean networks. Between 2023 and 2025 Rafael worked as a Teaching Assistant in the courses "Introduction to Programming" and "Algorithm Design and Analysis" at Nova University.
