Data Protection Law Scholars Network meets at Vrije Universiteit Brussel

On September 10, the annual meeting of the Data Protection Law Scholars Network took place at Vrije Universiteit Brussel (VUB). Prof. Franziska Boehm (Steering Committee) and Stephanie von Maltzan (Management Committee) attended on behalf of FIZ Karlsruhe.

The network connects early-career researchers in the field of data protection and supports them at the beginning of their academic journey through a variety of formats. These include the monthly “Digital Coffees” on recent rulings of the European Court of Justice, a Work-in-Progress Session on International Data Protection Day, community events linked to the international CPDP Conference, and the “How to” online workshop series.
